00:00We have hot news. The Commission on Elections issued a show-cause order

00:13for the re-election of Ms. Samis, Oriental Governor Peter Unabia.

00:18This is in line with what Unabia said while campaigning last week.

00:24In his speech, he said that only beautiful women should be able to get scholarships in medical courses.

00:33Unabia also taught the people involved in the riots there during the last election.

00:40According to COMELEC, this could be a violation of Resolution No. 11116

00:47or the Anti-Discrimination and Fair Campaigning Guidelines.

00:51Under the Resolution, discrimination against women, gender-based harassment, and labeling are prohibited.

01:00He was given three days to give an explanation from the day he received the order from COMELEC.
