Metamorfosi - album Inferno 1973

Following the release of the first album, guitarist Tamburro and drummer Natali leaved Metamorfosi, so no guitars here. With the new drummer Gianluca Herygers, the group began working on their second album "Inferno", that was intended as the first chapter of the project to transform Dante Allighieri's "Divine commedy" into a music trilogy that instead did not fully have if not with enormous delay. Musically "Inferno" follows the typical magmatic prog of the time, mixed with several jazz-like fugues, traces of beat, rock with Hammond in the foreground and incursions of traverse flute, with complicate and sophisticate musicanship, and as usual great semi-operatic, baritone vocals.
