00:00Michael B. Jordan played a dual role as troubled twins coming back to their hometown only to
00:07find an unimaginable evil awaiting their return.
00:12I've been all over this world, I've seen men die in ways I didn't even know was possible.
00:25Jordan spoke about his partnership with Ryan Coogler in the new movie Sinos, that is a
00:29expected on theatres as from April 18th.
00:33Oh I mean they're both two different people, you know what I'm saying, but the idea of
00:37twins and their connection, you know, psychologically, you know what I'm saying, is a strong one,
00:41it's so unique, so music really helped kind of differentiate the two, how they walk, their
00:46mannerisms, my prep was completely different for both of them, and it took time for me
00:51to transition from one to the other, so, you know, we did what we had to do.
00:54It's almost not too bad until you're like, you know, in it for seven hours, then eight
01:06hours, then ten hours, and then night after night after night, and we, yeah, we were up
01:10against some interesting weather conditions that sort of pushed us into more night shoots
01:17than originally planned, so we were all nocturnal and just like delirious after a certain point,
01:22but we had such an incredible group of people, cast and crew, that we were really able to
01:25lean on each other through the whole experience, and it made it that much better.
01:30The first viewing of the movie took place on April 3rd with critics, attendees at the
01:34New York premiere, and others who saw advanced screenings of the new film praising the project.
01:41I was basically making a story for my uncle, who introduced me to the blues, born and raised
01:45in Mississippi, moved to California in his twenties, and he used to spend time with me
01:49in his early years, you know, playing blues records, you know, and when he passed away
01:53in 2015, you know, I would listen to those songs to feel like I was reconjuring him,
01:58so the idea really came from that, you know, and wanting to give folks a thrilling cinematic
02:01experience, you know, we shot it with the biggest, most immersive cameras possible.
02:06With all the things that I've seen,
02:14I ain't never seen no demons.
