00:00Are you happy with the tariff, Sakhir? Are you going to get a deal before tomorrow? Are
00:12we going to put tariffs on American goods, Sakhir?
00:30Well, let me take this opportunity to welcome you, my friend. We've known each other for
00:38many, many years as good colleagues, and now as leaders who work together, think alike.
00:45And the history between our countries is long and rich, and the future challenges we face,
00:51we face together. So it is really a pleasure and a privilege to welcome you here to Downing
00:56Street for these important discussions today. So thank you very much for taking time. I
01:00know it's been a busy schedule, and I know I think you've only got a couple of days in
01:04the country, but it's really fantastic that you found time to come here for this bilateral
01:09session. I really appreciate it.
01:12Thank you very much, and of course, we've had the opportunity to meet a number of times
01:16since you assumed office. And the world in which we live is a very different world, even
01:22when you assumed office in July. And it is important that we can find common ground on
01:29key things that are of importance to both countries, and particularly with respect to
01:36those things that are necessary for us to have a healthy global commons that can benefit
01:43all of us.
