At least 50 people killed in overnight Israeli air strikes across Gaza, hospital officials say

Israel has vowed to escalate the nearly 18-month war with Hamas until the militant group returns dozens of remaining hostages, disarms and leaves the territory.

00:00Overnight, Israeli strikes killed at least 50 people across the Gaza Strip, local hospital
00:05officials reported on Thursday.
00:07Violence in the Gaza Strip has been escalating as Israeli forces have moved to seize large
00:12areas to establish a new security corridor.
00:16With the war now nearing the 18-month mark, Israeli's offensive has intensified as Netanyahu's
00:22government vowed to continue until Hamas returns the remaining hostages, disarms and exits
00:27the territory.
00:29Meanwhile, a month-long halt on food, fuel and humanitarian aid imports have left civilians
00:35grappling with severe shortages.
00:37In Gaza's southern city of Khan Yunus, officials say 14 dead bodies were taken to Nassar Hospital,
00:43including five children and four women.
00:45At the European Hospital nearby, 19 more bodies arrived, among them five young children and
00:51a pregnant woman.
00:52Gaza City's Ahly Hospital received 21 bodies, including seven children.
00:57On Thursday, the Israeli military ordered residents in several areas to evacuate, warning
01:02it will operate with, quote, extreme force.
01:06Civilians were told to move west towards shelters in Gaza City as the humanitarian crisis deepens.
