00:00No rest for the weary as we have days of severe weather this week.
00:04We're going to once again get severe weather beginning late Tuesday, Tuesday night across
00:10the central plains states from Des Moines toward Dallas and we do have a moderate risk
00:15right around Kansas City toward Oklahoma City.
00:18Now the main threat is going to be late Tuesday, Tuesday night where we're going to see damaging
00:23winds, large hail and probably a few tornadoes on the ground.
00:27We already have a high risk unfortunately posted for Wednesday.
00:31A lot of very warm steamy air will extend from Texas toward the mid-south and in toward
00:38the Ohio Valley.
00:39This is where temperatures are going to have a feel more like let's say mid-May.
00:44Another piece of energy comes into the plains, thunderstorms explode especially late Wednesday,
00:49Wednesday night.
00:50You can see that high risk that we already have highlighted.
00:54All modes of severe weather will occur but we're mostly worried about damaging winds
00:58and at this point I think there is the potential, a strong likelihood of over two dozen tornadoes
01:05with this late Wednesday, Wednesday night.
01:08Once again the severe weather will continue to occur well past sunset.
01:14Now the severe weather will shift a little bit east on Thursday and then we introduce
01:19a new problem late this week and into the upcoming weekend.
01:22That upper low in California moves across Texas and we're going to be looking at rounds
01:27of rain and thunderstorms from the mid-south toward the Tennessee Valley where we could
01:32be looking at life-threatening flash flooding.
