00:00storm chaser Aaron Jay Jack he puts on a lot of miles he's on the road again and he joins us now
00:04from Perry Oklahoma. So Aaron we've got a stormy night on our hands but this is a tricky one for
00:11the chasers I have to suspect here this evening because initial development might be kind of spotty
00:16but intense. Yeah that's right you know we're kind of a conditional risk here where a storm goes up
00:25if it goes up it's in an environment that could produce strong tornadoes damaging winds and large
00:30hail from a large supercell that could form and as you mentioned it's going to be spotty scattered
00:35there's a big dry line that stretches from Kansas down through Oklahoma where we're at here in
00:39Oklahoma now even down into Texas and somewhere along that dry line storms likely supercells will
00:44likely erupt here over the next few hours. Right where I'm at here we have some really strong winds
00:50it's that that shear that low-level winds that's providing that shear that's necessary to get these
00:54storms rotating later today a storm moves off that dry line into this shear we're waiting for moisture
01:00to arrive from the Gulf of Mexico so that's another limiting factor here is that moisture
01:04so 60 dew points are around that I-44 corridor out of Oklahoma City making their way to the north
01:11here where I'm at north of Oklahoma City and where that shear that moisture all comes together tonight
01:15that's kind of where I'm targeting right now back behind me here off to the west of Perry maybe to
01:19the southwest or a little bit to the northwest and that storm move off to the east tonight this
01:23evening and as I mentioned bringing those all hazard risks to anyone that's in the path of that
01:27storm back to you guys. Thank you very much for that report there Aaron and what we're going to
01:32be dealing with again a lot more trouble late through the night as this blast north up into
01:37areas like Kansas City as well.
