00:00The mechanism of the distribution of aid using MyCard is described as a correct step

00:09The use of MyCard was started last year through the support of Asas Rahmah or SARA

00:25because we can identify the actual owner of the aid.

00:32For me, the use of MyCard is easier, especially for the elderly

00:37or those who are less skilled in using apps.

00:43Previously, there was assistance using MyCard.

00:48SARA made it easier because everyone has MyCard

00:54and the number is only for one person.

00:58So, there is no need to get it 2-3 times.

01:02Sometimes there are people who don't have a bank account.

01:06They have to wait for the bank to take out the money.

01:10If it's IC, everyone has IC, right?

01:12According to financial expert Nurul Shahnaz Ahmad Mazat from the University of Malaya,

01:16all government aid must be distributed through a smart, straightforward and easy mechanism.

01:23I think this subsidy distribution network system needs to be smart,

01:28user-friendly and not burdening in terms of complicated procedures.

01:37Starting on April 1, 2025, SARA was distributed to 5.4 million recipients,

01:42up 75% compared to last year.

01:45Assistance also increased to RM2,100 compared to RM1,200 the previous year

01:51and up to RM200 will be credited monthly to MyCard recipients across the country,

01:57including Sabah, Sarawak and the Labuan Governorate.
