00:00I am a little concerned here because this was going into the season the Pirates had at least
00:05some concerns with Chapman being gone. They traded him in the middle of last year. Chapman,
00:10by the way, still fantastic somehow. But George Bednar gave up another home run yesterday,
00:16a two-run home run, barely hanging it, you know, holding it down. I don't know that it was his
00:21fault the night before necessarily. O'Neal Cruz misplayed a ball and they had some nonsense
00:26happening there in Pittsburgh. But I don't think I'm overreacting here. I don't know that Pittsburgh
00:31locked this spot down. If Bednar, I would assume he's not going to pitch today or tomorrow even.
00:37But if we see what we saw last year quickly here, by the way, I don't know that they have another
00:44option here. I'm a little like, I mean, did Pittsburgh think this thing through going into
00:48the season? I think what you said there is the biggest problem, right? If not Bednar, who?
00:54All right. So if you're looking at it, it'd be speculative here. You play in a deeper league
00:57and you want to see, because you think Bednar's going to lose the job, and I think he is, but
01:00it's a matter of time. I'm not saying it's going to be this week or this month, but he's going to
01:03lose that job. Who? All right. We know they're not going out and getting closer. All right. That's
01:07not happening. Hell, if anything, they wish Bednar would pitch well so they could trade him, right?
01:11That's a cheap organization. They didn't do anything. So, listen, he was bad. If he would
01:17have cost me my under last night, I'd have been very angry, but he didn't. I just made it
01:20interesting. But what are you going to do? I mean, old clothes are somewhat valuable here,
01:26but he's definitely in that tier three, and he's going to lose that. He wasn't very good last year.
01:30All right. He may have had good save numbers, but other than that, his underlying numbers
01:34were terrible. So nothing's changed this year. And you're right. Game one wasn't his fault. All
01:37right. So he had a hard-hit ball, but O'Neal Cruz misplayed the ball. But the home run yesterday is
01:41certainly concerning again here. So there's red flags all over the place here. This is just a
01:45matter of time until he loses the job.
