00:00There's been some reporting that the Republicans might have a numbers problem.
00:05What does that mic actually do?
00:07It speaks for the Cuts camera.
00:10My first time seeing it, I was wondering what's going on here.
00:18It's kind of an oversized microphone there.
00:20It is.
00:21Notice that in Star Wars, though, size matters.
00:24I'm going to refrain from commenting.
00:31It's Star Wars.
00:33In any event, there's been some suggestion that Republicans might have numbers with their reconciliation package.
00:39There's some reporting that there might be a withdrawal of the nomination of Elise Stefanik.
00:44What do you think that says if they were to pull that nomination or she were to withdraw
00:49about them having trouble with numbers to get through the so-called big beautiful bill?
00:54Republicans are in free fall right now.
00:58House Republicans are fighting with Senate Republicans.
01:02Senate Republicans are fighting with House Republicans.
01:05House Republicans are fighting with each other because you've got a group of people who are uncomfortable
01:14with the fact that they were forced as House Republicans in so-called swing districts to vote for the largest Medicaid cut in American history.
01:23And we will not let the American people ever forget it.
01:28Then you have a group of so-called Freedom Caucus Republicans who want to go further in terms of the cuts that are harmful and painful that they want to inflict on the American people.
01:42And then you've got Republicans in both the House and the Senate who don't know whether they should follow orders from Donald Trump or Elon Musk.
01:48So the whole situation is chaotic and confusing, but it all relates to a corrupt Ponzi scheme that they are trying to jam down the throats of the American people.
02:02But speak to this numbers issue.
02:04It's unclear what the numbers issue ultimately represents.
02:10I don't know.
02:11They seem to be panicking about the two special elections in Florida, which shocks the conscience of anybody who follows these races closely.
02:21Florida won in Florida six.
02:24Donald Trump won those two districts respectively by 30 and 37 points.
02:30How is it that they are even competitive at this point?
02:34Why are Republicans panicking in deep red districts?
02:39It's because their agenda is unpopular.
02:44They are completely and totally out of control.
02:47There's been no focus on driving down the high cost of living.
02:50And instead, this budget that they want to jam down the throats of the American people in order to provide tax cuts to their billionaire puppet master donors like Elon Musk is also unpopular.
03:04So they do have a numbers problem that they're going to have to try to resolve.
03:11But that's for Republicans to work out.
