00:00Every consenting adult in this country should have the right to choose their sexual orientation
00:06or the right to choose who they end up going to bed with.
00:11And neither the law nor the state should dictate that.
01:01Magnified when I was in the latter part of school.
01:05So it was basically class 10, 11 and 12.
01:09It's not like I had one incident, I had many.
01:13And there are certain words that are used, which I'm not going to say here
01:17because I'm not going to give power to those words.
01:22Especially in the Hindi language.
01:24That was repeatedly said to me and again and again and again.
01:30I'm not going to say it again.
01:44Those were the years when I actually really thought that maybe I should have a marriage of convenience.
01:49Maybe I should marry somebody who is lesbian
01:55and maybe that way I can live a normal inverted commas life.
02:15But they initially thought that it was a choice I was making
02:20and that maybe I'm making the wrong choice, as most families think.
02:24I was born this way, it was natural to me.
02:26And so that kind of reaction I had from my family,
02:29that it took them a little bit of time, but they understood that.
02:33And I'm lucky because they managed to understand that.
03:54and completely blames the government or blames the Supreme Court for not doing anything.
03:59What have I done?
04:24What have I done?
