00:00That there is nothing to celebrate about the murder of democracy and constitution. This is not about Kashmir anymore. This is about the constitution
00:30If this can happen to Jammu and Kashmir, it can happen to Maharashtra tomorrow. And the people who should worry about it most are actually non-Kashmiris.
00:45The people living outside the state of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, they should worry about it more because if tomorrow this can happen to Maharashtra,
00:54tomorrow some other state, Uttar Pradesh can be declared a Union Territory. This is very dangerous for the state of democracy.
01:01In Kashmir, fundamental rights have anyway been violated for a very long time. So more than the consequences that it has for Kashmir, for Kashmir it may be a 20% change in the status quo.

01:36This is a matter of shame, most of all for the Indian government because the way in which they have had to bulldoze their will shows how much of a weak legal standing they are on.
01:46And how much of an unlawful decision they have had to take for which they have had to gag an entire population.
01:52We are trying to get on board as many Kashmiri representatives elected and who are not even at the point unelected. We are trying to get them on board and trying to put in a comprehensive petition that deals with all aspects of the matter. That's what we're trying to do.
