00:00My name is Dr. Manish Zagora. I am a doctor at RML Hospital.
00:07I am not getting a bed here.
00:11Even after becoming a doctor, the HIV-positive people have filled up the beds.
00:31You are not saving your doctors. You are not saving the corona warriors.
00:35You are letting them die.
00:37So how can you expect the country to get out of this corona epidemic?
00:437-8 days ago, I went to RML Hospital to get my COVID test done.
00:50My test was done after at least an hour.
00:54Before me, the VIP people were tested.
00:58Because it was a VIP center.
01:00The doctors were told that only MPMLA tests are done here.
01:05This is not for you.
01:07But now they have changed its name to COVID Center 2.
01:11Because since the Federation of Whole India Medical Association had sent a letter to Mr. Modi,
01:16since then its name has changed.
01:18After that, unfortunately, my test was COVID positive.
01:23I was not in a good condition.
01:26Still, I decided to do home isolation.
01:30I did not need a bed.
01:32So that one bed can be given to another needy person.
01:36So I stayed at home in isolation.
01:39But on the 5th day, my condition started deteriorating.
01:43And I started getting very severe, uncontrollable, intolerable cough.
01:49Along with that, I had a fever and I started vomiting.
01:53And my heart rate reached 160.
01:56So I asked my friend for help.
01:59And my friend, Dr. Arun Garg, who is in surgery here,
02:03he dropped me on the bike.
02:07And he took me to Trauma Triage to get me admitted here.
02:11I spent 40 minutes outside the Trauma Triage road.
02:17After that, I got oxygen here by sitting on a stretcher,
02:22on a double bed.
02:23A woman was lying next to me.
02:26I had no problem with this because there was a lot of crowd here.
02:29And everyone was in need.
02:31I was not alone in need.
02:33After that, I told all my friends to get me a bed.
02:37All my friends here tried a lot.
02:40I called a lot of professors here.
02:43They helped me a lot.
02:45After 40 minutes, I got a bed on the first floor of RML Hospital.
02:50And I got admitted there.
02:53And I stayed on oxygen for two days.
02:57Now my condition has improved a little.
03:00But after talking a little too much, I have a little difficulty breathing.
03:04I just want to tell you that you think for yourself
03:08that a doctor has to struggle so much to get a bed.
03:13So, how much will a common man have to do?
03:16The RML administration is still not doing anything about it.
03:21Even today, many of our resident doctors told me that they went to get their sample.
03:26Before that, they stood for three hours, leaving their OPD.
03:30And before that, the VIP people got their sample.
03:33They already book it.
03:35I don't know where they book it from.
03:36I still don't understand.
03:38And our administration is quietly sitting on it.
03:40You are not saving your doctors.
03:42You are not saving the corona warriors.
03:43You are letting them die.
03:44So, how can you expect the country to get out of this corona epidemic?
