00:00It seems like there have been no major breakthroughs at those talks in Riyadh, but some progress.
00:08What are you seeing?
00:09What stands out for you?
00:11Well, this is upsetting to many of the diplomats because they like to talk, but when it comes
00:16down to actually making a decision, they really like to put that off for a decade or two.
00:20And so to have a businessman from New York that says, let's do this, OK, if we can't
00:24do everything, let's do these two things, let's move forward on these three or four,
00:28that goes against the grain of a comprehensive agreement.
00:31Remember, that's what was the decision as to whether or not to have the embassy in Jerusalem.
00:37That couldn't be decided for over 50 years because we needed a comprehensive agreement.
00:41And Donald Trump says, no, no, we can do this.
00:43We can do this.
00:44Let's just do these things.
00:45And so what we're seeing is, piece by piece, he's putting together an agreement that hopefully
00:49will bring an end to a war.
00:52And every foreign ministry in the entire EU and every secretary of state in both the Canada
00:58and the United—collectively, they never even bothered in three and a half years to
01:02pick up the phone and talk to Putin.
01:04So we can see that there'll be some frustrations along the line, but I call this progress.
