00:00There are only two sides in this struggle. There's right and there's wrong.
00:20I chose to do that because I'm tired of living in fear.
00:23I'm tired of white supremacy keeping its foot on my neck and the neck of people who look like me.
00:29All of the statues in North Carolina and all the statues throughout the South and all the statues in America have to go and they will go.
00:37The statue in Durham, North Carolina said, to the boys who wore the gray.
00:41And if we understand history, we know that those boys who wore gray today, they wear blue and they wear sheets over their heads
00:50and they beat up black people and they beat up Latino people, Latinx people, excuse me, and they beat up queer people.
00:57There are only two sides in this struggle. There's right and there's wrong.
01:01There's the side of anti-racism. There's black people's side.
01:05There's the side of oppressed people and there are the side of people who are Nazis and people who defend them.
01:11Last night, I saw a tweet by Roy Cooper who said there is a better way to tear down these statues.
01:18Well, if there was a better way, the statue wouldn't be standing for almost 100 years.
01:23Right. I think what we did was the best way.
