00:00The Department of Agriculture assured that the supply of NFA rice will not be affected if the higher rice allocation for the vulnerable sector is implemented.

00:11Angela Peñalosa of Radyo Pilipinas has news for the country.

00:17From 10 kilos, the beneficiaries of the P29 program will be able to buy 30 kilos of NFA rice.

00:25The Department of Agriculture increased the monthly rice allocation for the vulnerable sector or senior citizens, PWD, solo parent, and four-piece member.

00:36And because P29 will be implemented immediately per kilo, the Department of Agriculture assured that the supply of NFA rice will not be affected in the whole country.

00:46Last year, a lot of people bought NFA and even now, NFA is still being sold under the food security emergency.

00:56There are still a lot of stocks of NFA so this kind of program can be sustained by the National Food Authority.

01:06According to the DA, the low-priced rice that is being sold to non-governmental outlets such as 5% Broken, Rise for All 35% and RFA 100 will not be affected.

01:17Assistant Secretary De Mesa also announced in an interview with Radyo Pilipinas that P49 will be lowered to the maximum suggested retail price for imported rice before the end of March.
