00:00The Department of Social Welfare and Development of Eastern Visayas has given 23,440 family food packs to the families who were brought in because of the shear line.
00:11According to the DSWD Disaster Response Management Group, Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao,
00:16they immediately sent the family food packs following the request of the provincial government.
00:22As of March 21, more than 28,582 families from more than 100 barangays were affected by the rain in the region.
00:32More than 1,000 families are currently living in evacuation centers.
00:38Aside from the family food packs, the DSWD also has a standby P952 million fund for the victims of the flood.
