A private chef to Premier League stars has revealed the diet that keeps top footballers in peak condition.

Diogo Prego, 35, from Évora, Portugal, has cooked for players including Liverpool's Andy Robertson and ex-Spurs defender Jan Vertonghen.

Now based in Manchester, he works for a four-time Premier League winner, preparing three meals a day plus snacks.

His client’s diet includes sourdough toast with eggs for breakfast, fresh pasta for lunch, and seabass with vegetables for dinner.
