00:00Hello there, good afternoon. It's going to be another day of sunny spells and showers,
00:06particularly once again around North Sea coast. Plenty of showers moving through here and
00:10eventually through the course of the day we'll see some move further inland too. The best
00:14of the brightness likely across western areas, so Northern Ireland, western parts of Wales,
00:18parts of Devon and Cornwall seeing a largely dry day. The bulk of the showers around eastern
00:23coasts and the odd shower could be heavy and likely still seeing some snow, particularly
00:27across high ground in Scotland, for example. But the difference compared to yesterday
00:32is that the winds are a little bit lighter, so temperatures still widely just below average
00:36for the time of year. Highs of around eight to nine Celsius, but in the lighter winds
00:40and where you catch the sunshine, it should still feel pleasant for the time of year.
00:45Now through into the evening, we are still going to see a fair few showers once again
00:49skirting into eastern coast or plenty of showers moving through into Scotland, where once again
00:53they could be heavy and likely bringing snow across the highlands, perhaps even some flurries
00:58to lower levels too. But a few more clearer skies across parts of the south. That means
01:02temperatures are soon going to dip away overnight and feeling very cold and likely to see quite
01:06a widespread frost across southern areas. But a slight difference in the north, bit
01:10more cloud here, so perhaps not turning quite as chilly here as it did last night. And even
01:15seeing a few mist and frog patches through the course of the night too. So a cold start
01:21for many, particularly across the south, likely be scraping your cars off in the morning.
01:25And once again, we're going to see a fairly similar day, more showers, particularly along
01:29those eastern coasts where it's the main firing line for those showers and then drifting through
01:33inland through the course of the day. Once again, the best of the dry weather in western
01:37areas. But those winds still saying lightening between those showers. Once again, lots of
01:41bright and sunny spells. So a fairly similar day with highs around eight to nine Celsius
01:48into the evening. We should see most of those showers die away, perhaps still a few across
01:52those North Sea coasts once again and still a chance of some frost, perhaps even some
01:57ice patches and some mist and fog as we head through into Friday evening and start the
02:01beginning of the weekend. But high pressure building more and more into Saturday as it
02:05drifts its way eastward. So lots of dry weather as we head towards the weekend. But notice
02:10we still remain in that cold pool of air, so still feeling quite chilly at times, particularly
02:14across the southeast where we start to see a bit of an easterly set up by the time we
02:18reach Saturday and Sunday. So still feeling cold, but likely seeing quite a dry weekend.
02:23Bye bye for now.
