00:08Speaking to local Liberty Times newspaper, Greene says he expects Washington to double down on supporting Taiwan's self-defense and boost already strong trade ties.
00:19Greene says Taiwan is the U.S.'s seventh largest trading partner, and there's room for supply chains to grow stronger and more resilient.
00:27But he also said he hopes Taiwan's partisan legislature can come together to increase Taiwan's defense budget and for the country to stabilize its energy supply.
