00:00Microdosing is a practice that many people engage in outside of the medical context and they use
00:20very low doses of psychedelic drugs, usually LSD, sometimes psilocybin, and they take them
00:27once every three or four days for extended periods of time. I learned to grow mushrooms
00:34and started to start to make my own medicine, started to dial in my sweet spot for microdosing,
00:40and then within two months of microdosing I had this general sense of well-being that I just
00:49hadn't felt in literally a decade and a half.
01:03To date, the results with the microdosing studies under controlled conditions
01:08have been disappointing. We haven't seen very strong effects.
01:23What keeps me going is that the drug is acting on a system that we know is involved in depression,
01:28and secondly that so many people are using it makes you think that there's probably something there to it.
