00:30It was a night full of stars.
00:32A star was very bright.
00:34Hazrat Ibrahim A.S. looked at it and said,
00:37My God is this.
00:39Because if stars can do divinity,
00:42then he is the most exalted and the brightest among them.
00:46But when he lost his sight at the appointed time,
00:51and he did not have the courage to make his stars shine for one more moment,
00:57and he was deviating from the system of the universe,
01:00and he was making a place of worship for his worshippers,
01:05then Hazrat Ibrahim A.S. said,
01:08I do not like those who hide.
01:12Then he looked up,
01:14and saw that the moon was right in front of him.
01:19Seeing that, he said,
01:21This is my God.
01:23This moon is my God.
01:25Because it is very bright,
01:27and because of its brightness,
01:29it has made the whole universe a place of light.
01:32When it was time for the sun to set,
01:34then it was time for the moon to appear.
01:40And as the time of the sun was getting closer,
01:44the eyes of those who saw the moon's body began to glow.
01:48This is common sense.
01:50Seeing this,
01:51Hazrat Ibrahim A.S. said such a sentence,
01:55that along with the negation of being the Lord of the moon,
01:58the attention of the people towards the existence of the One God,
02:02was so silent,
02:04that the people could not even realize it.
02:08Nor could they imagine it.
02:11And the purpose of this conversation,
02:14which is faith in the One God,
02:17will be embedded in their hearts.
02:19Hazrat Ibrahim A.S. said,
02:21If my Lord had not guided me,
02:25then I too would have been misguided like you,
02:28and would have become one of the people.
02:31The starry night ended.
02:33The shining stars,
02:35and the moon,
02:36all disappeared from sight.
02:37The day dawned.
02:39And the sun began to shine with all its brightness.
02:42Hazrat Ibrahim A.S. said,
02:44Seeing the sun,
02:46this is my Lord.
02:48Because He is the greatest among all the stars.
02:51And there is no other star in the sky,
02:54that is greater than this.
02:56But after shining all day,
02:58and after being bright,
03:00at last,
03:01He too,
03:02disappeared from sight.
03:04So now the time came,
03:06that Hazrat Ibrahim A.S.
03:08should announce the truth.
03:10Hazrat Ibrahim A.S. actually said,
03:13that the Lord is neither the sun,
03:15nor the moon.
03:17If these stars,
03:18the sun,
03:19and the moon,
03:20are the Lord,
03:21then why do they shine,
03:23and disappear?
03:25So my people,
03:26I am free from these polytheistic beliefs.
03:29And I am free from the life of polytheism.
03:32Undoubtedly,
03:33I have turned my attention,
03:35only to the One God,
03:37Who is the Creator of the heavens and the earth.
03:40Similarly,
03:41a famous incident of Hazrat Ibrahim A.S.,
03:43and a very famous incident,
03:45which took place on a festival day.
03:48You remember that time,
03:50when there was a religious festival in Palestine.
03:53And the whole nation went to that festival.
03:56So some people,
03:57insisted on Hazrat Ibrahim A.S.
03:59to go with them.
04:01Hazrat Ibrahim A.S.
04:02refused first.
04:04And when the insistence of the nation increased,
04:07then he looked towards the stars,
04:09and said,
04:10today,
04:11I am a little less.
04:13So the whole nation,
04:15the king,
04:16the priest,
04:17and their religious leaders,
04:19went to the festival.
04:20So Hazrat Ibrahim A.S. got up,
04:22and went to the hall of the greatest deity.
04:25He saw that in front of the deities,
04:27there were all kinds of food,
04:29fruits,
04:30and sweets.
04:31So Hazrat Ibrahim A.S.
04:32addressed the deities,
04:33in a polite tone,
04:34and said,
04:35that all of this is present,
04:37so why don't you eat them?
04:40I am talking,
04:41so why don't you answer?
04:43And then,
04:44Hazrat Ibrahim A.S.
04:45broke all of these idols,
04:47and came back,
04:48with a stick,
04:49on the shoulders,
04:50of the biggest idol.
04:53When the nation,
04:54came back from the festival,
04:56he saw that,
04:57all of the idols were broken.
04:59The nation,
05:00became very upset.
05:02And they started asking each other,
05:04that who did all of this?
05:06So some people said,
05:07surely,
05:08this is the work of the person,
05:10whose name is Ibrahim.
05:11He didn't even go to the festival,
05:13and he is the enemy of our deities.
05:16Hazrat Ibrahim A.S.
05:17was brought in front of the nation.
05:19And they asked Hazrat Ibrahim A.S.,
05:22that who did all of this,
05:24to our idols,
05:25our deities?
05:28Hazrat Ibrahim A.S. said,
05:30the biggest idol,
05:32which has a stick on its shoulders,
05:34it seems that,
05:36he must have broken all of them.
05:38Ask him.
05:39Everyone bowed their heads,
05:41and said,
05:42Ibrahim A.S.,
05:43you know very well,
05:44that these idols,
05:45cannot speak.
05:46These are lifeless idols.
05:48Then,
05:49Hazrat Ibrahim A.S.
05:50explained to the nation,
05:51that when the deities,
05:52cannot reach,
05:53when they cannot speak,
05:55cannot hear,
05:56cannot move,
05:58nor can they cause harm,
06:00then how did they become,
06:01God and deities?
06:03Look at this,
06:04the prophetic wisdom,
06:05of Hazrat Ibrahim A.S.
06:07Allah gives His prophets,
06:08such wisdom,
06:09wisdom,
06:10and knowledge,
06:11that in a very good way,
06:13they made the idols helpless,
06:15made the idols foolish,
06:17and made their followers,
06:19speak.
06:21That is,
06:22the deities themselves,
06:23were saying with their own tongue,
06:25that these are lifeless idols,
06:27they have no power,
06:29how can they listen to us,
06:30and give an answer?
06:32This nation,
06:33is in search of their God.
06:36This nation,
06:37is in search of their God.
06:45The time and place,
06:46have been stolen,
06:48there is no time,
06:49nor place,
06:50there is no God,
06:51except Allah.
06:52Even though the idols,
06:53are in the hearts of the community,
06:56I have the commandment,
06:58there is no God,
07:00except Allah.
