00:00Unfortunately, the situation is getting worse in Bahía Blanca.
00:03The Meteorological Automatic Stations Network has already released data of almost 300 mm
00:08since the rain and storm began at 4 am.
00:12I want to show you, this is a camera of 4.51 am.
00:15You can see that the heavy rain had already begun.
00:18But in the next image we are going to see the same region,
00:22how it is now, after almost 300 mm.
00:27Look, almost one meter of water in the streets.
00:31This is the same roundabout that we saw just now.
00:34Exactly.
00:35Obviously, covered by water.
00:36Almost at 5 am, the one that was at night, the previous image.
00:41And now, everything is under water.
00:43Notice that there is a truck, a truck that practically reaches the water.
00:48Really, an alarming situation.
00:51And the heavy rain and storm will continue to affect the same region of the province of Buenos Aires,
00:56at least until noon, with some temporary improvements.
01:00But, well, the city is without electricity supply.
01:04Classes were suspended.
01:06Unfortunately, more than 80 families have already been evacuated.
01:10And a very particular meteorological situation
01:14that reminds them of the December 2023 storm over the same city.
01:20Well, it's been 4 or 5 hours of rain, right?
01:24Almost 5 hours of torrential rain.
01:27And, unfortunately, until noon, you, Nacho, were telling us,
01:32until noon this is going to continue, maybe not with so much intensity,
01:36close to noon, but it's still going to continue.
01:40It's...
01:42Impressive.
01:43No, no, no, some images are...
01:45Cars dragged by the current on an avenue.
01:50I was very struck by the hospital.
01:52Completely under water.
01:54And a neighbor there told us,
01:56and yes, the hospitals are really so, so, so bad,
02:00that this happens.
02:02Yes, and a fairly uniform rain, because I saw the data,
02:06both to the north of the city, to the south of Bahía Blanca,
02:09to the east, to the west, in all directions,
02:11more than 250 millimeters of rain.
02:14That is, a serious situation, very serious, the one that is being experienced.
02:18Well, this...
02:20This huge storm is the one that, little by little,
02:24is going to run away.
02:26There you are, Nacho, with the image of...
02:29of cloud tops.
02:30That's right.
02:31That is going to run away towards, well,
02:34towards the city of Buenos Aires.
02:36Now, Antonio, and from today early,
02:38the storms formed in the south of San Luis,
02:40and their displacement, as you can see, is from east...
02:43Sorry, from west to east.
02:45Let's say it remained stationary,
02:48practically for five hours in a row,
02:50in the same region, this storm zone.
02:52But what is going to happen, from the next few hours,
02:55especially from noon,
02:57is that this storm system is going to start moving,
03:00to walk, towards the rest of the province of Buenos Aires.
03:03See how, at 13, at 4 p.m.,
03:06the storms are going to start affecting Mar del Plata,
03:09the line that joins Santa Rosa with La Bulaya in the south of Cordoba,
03:13and by the end of the night,
03:15the area of strong storms
03:17is going to be practically about 50 kilometers south
03:20of the federal capital.
03:22And, after midnight, the rain arrives,
03:24the strong storm, with strong gusts of wind,
03:27a lot of water falling,
03:29between midnight and 4 a.m.,
03:31there is going to be the greatest intensity of the phenomena
03:34over the Rio de la Plata,
03:36and tomorrow, in the morning,
03:38the storm is going to move to the coast.
03:40Well, let's see, today,
03:42I'm going to the city, I'm staying in the city of Buenos Aires,
03:45I say, because of what it implies,
03:47it's not something light,
03:49it's what it implies the amount of people we're going to see
03:51in the Argentinian town of Shakira today,
03:53which is at 9 p.m.
03:55The storms could start arriving in Buenos Aires
03:57around midnight, more or less.
03:59Exactly, a little later, let's say.
04:01But, yes, let's suppose, right?
04:03Exactly, the forecast, according to the calculations,
04:06made around midnight.
04:08For that, the thermal sensation today,
04:10for the third consecutive day,
04:12is going to be close to 44, 45 degrees,
04:14a tiring day.
04:16That heat is responsible for all this storm system,
04:19with so much water falling
04:21in several places in the center of the country.
04:23And tomorrow, it's going to dawn with rain and storms,
04:26here in the federal capital.
04:28It's going to get better quickly,
04:30and from midday, a fresh air is coming in,
04:32with maximums that are not going to exceed 24 degrees.
04:35Well, I insist on the theme of recital,
04:37because the people who move,
04:39maybe they catch you at the end of the recital,
04:41but everything indicates that the first thing
04:43that is going to arrive is going to be heavy rain.
04:45Heavy rain and gusts of wind.
04:47The main phenomenon should be
04:49the strong gusts of wind over our region.
04:52We'll be back with the subject of Bahia Blanca.

04:58now you can become an Italian citizen

05:21and study that leads your case
05:23in a simple and agile way.
05:25De Martin y Asociados, an investment for the future.
05:30Well, we're going to one of our cell phones.
05:32Ciudad de la Plata.
05:34Gabriel Prosperi was already there.
05:36Gabriel, good morning.
05:38Antonio, it can be a decisive day
05:40in the investigation
05:42regarding the murder of King Gómez.
05:45Today, in minutes,
05:47an audience will be given
05:49in which the future of the under-14 can be defined.
05:53If he is released and returns to his home,
05:56or if he continues in this restrictive regime
05:59that the judge has decided
06:01almost at the same time
06:03when it was delayed
06:05when he was directly involved
06:07in the murder of this seven-year-old girl.
06:09This audience will be given
06:11with the presence of all parties,
06:13the prosecutor Carmen Ibarra
06:15and also the lawyers
06:17of the two minors involved.
06:19The parents of King will also be there.
06:21He is already in the Marcos area.
06:23We saw him.
06:25We saw him just a little while ago.
06:28He will come here.
06:30And he will be seconded.
06:32Look, we are going to panic, Antonio,
06:34for a huge number of people
06:36who are accompanying this family.
06:38A bizarre case.
06:40We have been following it from minute one.
06:42For the entire community of Ciudad de la Plata
06:44and also for those who have followed the case closely
06:47and have been moved like everyone else from all over the country.
06:50This is not a case anymore.
06:52King is a before and after.
06:54A terrifying fact and a seven-year-old girl
06:56who loses her life in the hands,
06:58for the time being, of two minors.
07:00For the time being, I say.
07:02Because today it can be defined
07:04what can happen to the minor of 14.
07:06I was going to ask you that.
07:08Because yesterday there were versions
07:10that said that videos or testimonies
07:12would locate the 14-year-old on the other side.
07:14Kim's mother says she saw everything perfectly.
07:19The testimony of the parents is decisive.
07:22Especially of the mother.
07:24If she places him and recognizes him
07:26as the one who was,
07:28at least at the time
07:30when she is forced by force
07:32to get out of the car.
07:34What do they say?
07:36Exactly.
07:38But what do the security cameras say?
07:40Which are the municipal security cameras.
07:42Those that provide this proof
07:44that will obviously have to be protected
07:46by the far judge.
07:48There is an image
07:50later at 8 p.m.
07:52when it is given
07:54the fact that they attack the mother
07:56and take Kim in the car.
07:58That they see it at least,
08:00those cameras,
08:02in the area of 25 and 75,
08:04to three blocks of 25 and 72,
08:06walking at the same time
08:08in which supposedly the car
08:10with Kim already unfortunately dragged
08:12is fleeing the area.
08:14Therefore, the minor of 14
08:16would not be inside the car
08:18at the time when Kim is dragged.
08:20Exactly.
08:22But if he participated or not
08:24of the fact,
08:26that is, if he threatened,
08:28intimidated the mother
08:30to get out of the car
08:32and take the car with Kim inside,
08:34that is not confirmed.
08:36It has to be proven.
08:38That is why it is still disputed in the cause.
08:40We will have to see if the judge
08:42has other evidence,
08:44in addition to the security cameras,
08:46the fact itself,
08:48because it is seen in the previous cameras.
08:50Do you remember, Antonio,
08:52that the same day after the fact,
08:54we showed you the cameras
08:56of a butcher shop on the corner
08:58where you can see the two minors
09:00mellowing the area.
09:02Now, the issue is that the minor of 14
09:04has participated with the 17
09:06at the time they attack the mother.
09:08That is what you have to find out,
09:10confirm through the evidence
09:12that is in the file by the judge.
09:14How not?
09:16From La Plata we return to Bahía Blanca,
09:18a disaster area today.
09:20Unfortunately,
09:22a little while ago
09:24we saw images
09:26of the hospital Pena,
09:28one of the hospitals of Bahía Blanca,
09:30under water.
09:32These are the images.
09:34The rain is unceasing
09:36over Bahía Blanca, Antonio.
09:38The rain is very intense.
09:40Well,
09:42Santiago Bujenes,
09:44doctor, is in Bahía Blanca,
09:46from the Italian hospital,
09:48not from this hospital.
09:50Santiago, thank you,
09:52first of all.
09:54Good morning.
09:56Are you trying to get to the hospital?
09:58Good morning, Antonio.
10:00Yes, I've been a little over an hour
10:02since I left home,
10:04but I got to two blocks
10:06on Ecochea Street,
10:08very close to the hospital Pena,
10:10and I didn't get to the destination
10:12because there is a river on that street.
10:14We are watching the video you sent us.
10:16You are exactly there.
10:18Yes, that video is already in the center,
10:20it is next to the airplane
10:22of the train station,
10:24a few blocks from my house,
10:26which is where it is not flooded
10:28due to the height,
10:30but you can't leave now
10:32for a while,
10:34I will try again to go to the hospital.
10:36What happens is that the streets have been broken,
10:38you can't see the wells,
10:40there are vehicles,
10:42collective displaced vehicles
10:44that cover the corners,
10:46the truth is that it is impossible to transit.
10:48Of course, you cross the road,
10:50because it is higher,
10:52but then you can't continue,
10:54you have to go back or stay on the road
10:56or go back.
10:58Of course, that's because it's the road,
11:00but the street is a meter,
11:02there are videos of people
11:04who sent us that there are streets
11:06that have opened,
11:08especially those that are
11:10more improved,
11:12self-encroached,
11:14as if the pavement had been broken.
11:16Yes, there are vehicles,
11:18there are broken streets of cement
11:20and asphalt
11:22and then there are
11:24dirt roads,
11:26I have some photos and videos
11:28of neighborhoods with dirt roads
11:30that you can access.
11:32Do you know the condition of your hospital?
11:34The hospital is
11:36stopped, the operating room
11:38was stopped, all the activity of the day,
11:40most of the staff,
11:42almost no one could get there,
11:44we don't have, let's say,
11:46the availability of the people
11:48to make it work normally.
11:50They are only attending emergencies
11:52and those hospitalized with the people
11:54who were on guard, in general,
11:56the night before, who could not go either.
11:58Do hospitals have a generator?
12:00Yes, hospitals have a generator.
12:02What happens is that now they are asking
12:04for derivation of the hospitals
12:06that were flooded,
12:08also the hospital Penas,
12:10a while ago the director spoke on the radio
12:12that they were deriving patients
12:14from intensive care to other hospitals
12:16because the therapy is in the basement
12:18and it flooded. The problem is that
12:20the logistics to deliver those patients
12:22is also very difficult.
12:24How do you get from one hospital to another?
12:26Everything is paralyzed,
12:28we will have to wait a few hours
12:30to have some favorable development
12:32because at the moment
12:34we cannot move,
12:36that is the reality.
12:38Santiago, where are you now,
12:40in the area of the road, waiting?
12:42I am near the train station of
12:44Bahía Blanca, which is in the center,
12:46in the central area, it crosses the city
12:48and here I stayed because
12:50I could not advance anymore.
12:52I am in a truck and still
12:54there is a meter of depth of water
12:56and above all you can't see the street,
12:58as several sidewalks have been broken
13:00or the asphalt is also dangerous
13:02because you can't see the road.
13:04Here we are fine, but I can't complain,
13:06I am safe,
13:08but the problem is that we cannot
13:10get to the place of work
13:12and neither we nor the people
13:14who leave the hospital to help
13:16are in great difficulty.
13:18Excuse me, I ask you this,
13:20do you notice that the rain
13:22is lowering the intensity a little
13:24or is it still raining hard?
13:26No, not at all, it's still raining.
13:28A little while ago it stopped
13:3010 minutes and started again
13:32and now there is more wind,
13:34that is, more water
13:36is generated there,
13:38less drainage,
13:40and the block where
13:42my house is, that they send me videos,
13:44when I left an hour and a half ago
13:46it was not flooded and now it is flooded,
13:48which we are worse than an hour and a half ago.
13:50We are still getting worse,
13:52it has not yet begun to improve.
13:54There are images where you can see,
13:56there are houses that have
13:58above 1.50 meters, 1.60 meters of water
14:00and more too.
14:02Yes, yes, without a doubt,
14:04here that video that I sent
14:06is not seen in the video,
14:08but it is a meter and a half of water
14:10at least for the bottom,
14:12below the ground.
14:14Santiago, thank you very much,
14:16very attentive.
14:18I am in the north of the city of Bahia Blanca,
14:20I am seeing the data from an automatic network
14:22of stations in the neighborhood of Avellaneda,
14:24275 millimeters,
14:26full center of the city,
14:28212 millimeters,
14:30and to the south of the city,
14:32in the neighborhood of October 12,
14:34256 millimeters, a uniform rain.
14:36And apart from what you just said,
14:38what you were saying,
14:40it continues to rain the same.
14:42Until noon, persistent rains
14:44are seen over the city of Bahia Blanca
14:46and in the neighborhoods,
14:48so you have to wait for it to continue to fall.
14:50Sure, if you look ahead,
14:52there, as the doctor just told us,
14:541.50 meters of water,
14:56if you look towards the bottom.
14:58And there was one of the videos,
15:00which for me is the most shocking,
15:02where you see one of the people
15:04leaving a house, the water ...
15:06Impressive.
15:08This is being updated practically every 10 minutes,
15:10but there is talk of more than 100 evacuated families,
15:12but this number will be much higher.
15:14Look at the car.
15:16A flood of this magnitude
15:18had never occurred
15:20in Bahia Blanca.
15:22Yes, a severe storm
15:24with gusts of wind
15:26that had reached
15:28170, 180 kilometers per hour.
15:30Look at the level of that water there.
15:32And this has increased now.
15:34This is two hours ago,
15:36or three hours.
15:38Yes, an alarming situation.
15:40A disaster.
15:42An alarming situation.
15:48This, this
15:50very strong storm
15:52there in the area,
15:54this image is
15:56tremendous.
15:58Look at the car there.
16:00This storm
16:02in which, later,
16:04Bahia Blanca will begin to cross,
16:06Bahia Blanca will begin to cross
16:08the entire province of Buenos Aires.
16:10The streets have been directly broken.
16:12The streets of the land have been broken.
16:14Forget it.
16:16Yes, there are cracks
16:18that are formed, landslides
16:20of the force of the water.
16:22The level of destruction
16:24and the speed of the water.
16:26This is a type of flood.
16:28The streets of the land.
16:30That is very early.
16:32It was dawn.
16:34This is one hour, two hours of rain.
16:36Then they passed.
16:38Now we have almost five hours of rain.
16:40A little more.
