A body has been found in the search for Luis Piovesana, 26, who went missing in Bristol in the early hours of Friday morning, Avon and Somerset Police said.

00:13The force said that a dive team found a body in the River Froome in the Napier Road area
00:17of Eastville in the city on Monday 3rd March at 6pm.
00:22Over 100 police officers were involved in the search for 26-year-old Lewis, with dive
00:29teams locating the body at the end of the search.
00:33The search included police on foot, mounted police officers and police drone teams around
00:39the M32 River Froome.
00:42A press conference on Monday 3rd March heard that Lewis called 999 asking for police a
00:48few minutes before he went missing. However, his call to the emergency services
00:53dropped at around 30 seconds, where he was then seen moving around the Eastgate Retail
01:00Park area on his own.
01:03Formal identification is yet to take place. Mr Pierverson's family have been informed,
01:08the force added. His family have updated their private social media pages to say that Lewis
01:13had passed away and that the body was sadly him.
01:17They took to the site where he was found to lay flowers, notes and light candles.
01:22Many of his friends and family walked to a place close to their family home in order
01:28to pay their respects to Lewis.
01:30Thousands of people took to social media to share their support to the family. Sharing
01:36posts assist his search that pleaded for anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts to come
01:43forward.
