A 19-year-old woman from Shropshire has tragically died after being attacked by a dog in Bristol. Morgan Dorsett, who was visiting the city, was fatally injured at a flat on Cobhorn Drive in Withywood on February the 26th.

00:20and put down at the scene. Two people in their 20s have been arrested and a full investigation
00:27is on its way. Local residents described hearing screams and seeing a large dog during
00:33the incident. Initial reports from neighbours suggested the dog was an exile bully. Police
00:39have now officially confirmed that the dog who caused the fatal death of the teenager
00:44was the exile bully breed. The dog was sedated on the scene before later being put down.
00:51A woman and man, both in their 20s, have been released on conditional bail. They were both
00:57arrested on suspicion of possession of a prohibited breed of dog. They were also arrested
01:03on suspicion of possession of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control, which
01:09caused injury and resulted in death. After a press conference on Thursday, the 27th of
01:16February, Inspector Terry Murphy from Avon and Somerset Police described the incident
01:21as incredibly rare and assured the public that a thorough investigation is underway
01:28to establish the full circumstances surrounding the tragic death of the teenager. The teenager's
01:35former headteacher also issued a tribute, describing her as a very kind and thoughtful
01:39person. But the city has been devastated by the tragic incident.
