00:00Daniel Walton with the Expresso Star. We're back here on Eastfield Grove in Wolverhampton,
00:04where as you can see police are still on the scene following a shooting that
00:07killed a man in his 20s yesterday around 3.20pm. So police are still on the scene,
00:12they're still currently conducting a search. A full investigation has been launched into the
00:16instance as well. We've been down here speaking to residents who are obviously extremely concerned
00:20about what happened and especially within such a close date to another shooting which took place
00:24in Wolverhampton as well, just by the Molyneux Stadium. They've called on the council and also
00:29the police to do more to protect the streets. But this is just another example, they're saying
00:33that this is just another example of more gun crime in the area that's stopping them from being
00:38able to leave the home. So one resident said that they're absolutely terrified to even let the
00:41children out into the street these days. Every single day warn them, you know, stay safe,
00:47check over your shoulder to make sure this sort of thing doesn't happen. Residents have said that
00:51it shouldn't be up to them to have to tell their kids to be safe. They said they're absolutely
00:56terrified of the streets and that the councils, the government and the police do need to do more
01:03to stop this sort of action taking place.
