প্রাথমিকে নিয়োগ দুর্নীতিতে সিবিআইয়ের চার্জশিটে তাঁর নাম প্রসঙ্গে অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় বলেন, ‘আগেও বলেছিলাম,এখনও বলছি, কেউ কোনও দুর্নীতি প্রমাণ করতে পারলে, আমি ফাঁসির মঞ্চে চলে যাব। এর জন্য সিবিআইয়ের চার্জশিট দেওয়ার প্রয়োজন নেই’।

Abhishek Banerjee said about his name in the CBI's charge sheet in recruitment corruption, “I have said before, I am still saying, if anyone can prove any corruption, I will go to the gallows. There is no need to give CBI chargesheet for this”.
