00:00The National Economic Development Authority, President Marcos Jr. is urged to certify as urgent the implementation of the Department of Water Resources' bill.
00:12This was made at a sectoral meeting yesterday by the President.
00:17The purpose of this bill is to ensure the long-term prosperity of the country through the administration of water and productivity in agriculture.
00:27Through the implementation and regulation of water in the country, the DWR may help in the country's efforts to implement comprehensive water security.
00:40President Marcos Jr. also urged that this bill should be improved and he urged the government agencies to simplify the bill
00:51in order to build a clear and effective system that eliminates unnecessary processes,
00:57strengthen regulations and ensure a clean and reliable water supply.
01:03It is time for the Department of Water Resources to unify, strengthen and implement the government's regulation and distribution of water in the country.
01:14In addition to this, the long-term solution to the lack of clean, flowing and sustainable water is to support agriculture and industry for the country's prosperity.
