00:09Three years after Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, U.S. President Donald

00:14Trump has made a string of false claims about the war.

00:17Trump claimed that Zelensky's approval rate was down to 4%, calling Zelensky a dictator

00:21and pointing to Ukraine's martial law.

00:24According to a poll released in February, 57% of Ukrainians trust Zelensky, up from

00:3052% in December.

00:32In February 2022, after Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, martial law

00:37banned elections according to the country's constitution.

00:41Zelensky has repeatedly stated that elections will be held after the war, with his main

00:46rivals also dismissing calls for wartime elections.

00:50Trump also claimed that the U.S. provides Ukraine with more aid than the EU.

00:55There are different statistics and ways of measuring aid sent to Ukraine.

00:58However, the U.S. has donated far less than Trump's alleged $350 billion.

01:04Aid from the EU and individual states amounts to approximately 132 billion euros, compared

01:10to 114 billion euros from the U.S.

01:13The largest contributions as a percentage of GDP were made by Estonia and Denmark.

01:19According to recent estimates, around 580,000 Russian troops are on the ground, with Moscow

01:25believed to have spent $211 billion on its war efforts.

01:30Western sanctions have also impacted Russia's ability to manufacture weapons, with reports

01:35stating that its weapons stockpiles have been dwindling.

01:38The Kremlin has been using drones and missiles from Iran, as well as relying on North Korean

01:43troops and missiles to replenish its defences.

01:46Zelensky has accused Trump of living in a disinformation space created by Russia.
