00:24Moody more. Well Avenue has now been created for him in a different way and I
00:32would argue because of his ability not perfect but because of his ability to
00:37knock down the three and this new trade which has thinned out the roster a
00:42little bit like if I look at the month of February listen to these numbers okay
00:47yeah 24 32 22 33 27 34 that's Moses Moody's minutes in games in February
00:57that's a lot of minutes so for everybody who's been fighting for the Moses Moody
01:02era by the way double-digit score in five of those six games yep so if you've
01:09been fighting for the Moses Moody era we're here we're here now I don't know
01:13how it shakes out when Jonathan come right are we here well but that's the
01:17guy that's the guy that allows you I think to put Jonathan have him come off
01:23of the bench because Moses is somebody who when playing with Jimmy when playing
01:28with Draymond etc that's a guy that I like seeing shoot a three but you'd like
01:36to have him play the four and coming up also plays the four and so you don't
01:40want Draymond to play a ton at the five and so Steve said you know we're gonna
01:44have to play Draymond at the five so now you've got Jimmy Butler who's gonna play
01:49the three and when you have Moody and Kaminga both coming back I don't know
01:53how you find minutes for both of them when you want them to play the four no
01:56Moody starts coming it comes off the bench they don't they'd like a little
02:01bit of overlap here and there because these things are all to a degree
02:05interchangeable but but yeah like I just can't help but think that Moody's
02:10minutes go back down um they might go I'm sure they'll go down a little bit
02:13well I don't think he's a significant piece of the puzzle I would brace
02:17myself for his minutes to go down a lot more than just a little and I know you
02:21mentioned 34 and 27 and 33 and he's been playing a lot but you go back earlier in
02:28the year and there's a 9 there's a 15 there's a 14 I wonder if he doesn't get
02:33his minutes carved back to where they once were and it's made a little bit
02:37easier because Slo Mo's gone and Dennis is gone and TJD is mostly gone he's been
02:43buried on the bench so if you look at a 9 or 10 man rotation Moses is still in
02:48there I just wonder if he doesn't sustain a little bit of a cut in what
02:53he's playing right probably a little bit I all I'm saying and I'm not saying he
02:57needs to be up at 30 minutes I'm just saying that to me Moses is a huge piece
03:02of the puzzle of Jimmy Butler slash Jonathan Kaminga and floor spacing and
03:07he hasn't been amazing from three but but certainly good enough yeah I don't
03:12even have his stats in front of me for the year well you mentioned just from
03:15February you know since his minutes have been great in February and over that
03:21span he's shooting 27% yeah it's a little misleading because he had the one
03:26game that was a really bad game he went 0 for 5 I followed it up with a 1 for 5
03:31and a 2 for 8 yeah so but he's also before that he was a 3 for 5 and a 2 for
03:356 like I yeah the 37% for the year here which is better than most yeah that's
03:42that's very well if you want to look at other guys on the team for example pods
03:46who's at 32% I believe on the year from 3 and if you start to go through on this
03:52team who do you want to shoot a 3-point shot when they're open or contested I
03:57would put Moses that's a fun question well for me it's Steph obviously is
04:02number one that's number one and then beyond that is buddy healed number two I
04:06mean that's the question is it Moses or is it buddy because it should be buddy
04:10but over the last three months now it hasn't been buddy or is it Quentin Post
04:14right and again a really small sample he's only shot like 33s on the whole
04:20year maybe a few more than that but not many more than that when post on the
04:26year has shot well first of all he's shooting 39 points yeah 63 yeah 25 is 63
04:34okay yeah right so that's a pretty pretty small sample but it's a good
04:39percentage especially for a big dude yeah I mean big dude who doesn't play
04:44big on defense so I know on offense he's a stretch five on defense he's a turn
04:48style so like what are we doing answer it so Steph Curry is that that's who you
04:52want shooting a three who's next it's buddy healed as much as I have to hold
04:57my nose when I answer it it's buddy healed and I look at the track record of
05:01buddy healed and he still is this year 36% from three which includes the first
05:07month where he was shooting darn near 50% and since then he's been not terrible
05:13but he's not been good he's been it's been a struggle I know it's been a big
05:18struggle I guess and for me it's not even just it's not just percentage and
05:23and when they go down it's it's the quality of the shot it's when you take
05:29the shot I actually do think I would I would vote for Moses Moody I think
05:35that's who I want next shoot the three because Moses I've never seen Moses take
05:40a bad three when is Moses taking a shower you're like what the hell are you
05:43doing dog and Quentin Post is you know flavor of the month so that's good too
05:49but I'm not gonna give him that label yet and and and so my answer is it
05:55should be buddy healed but it's not yeah for me it is buddy it's Moses Moody
05:59buddy shooting 32.6 in the same February stretch where Moses is at 27.8 he's
06:06shooting more threes and he's making slightly more threes than Moses but I
06:11mean that that's the real answer is it should be I think the real question is
06:15who do you really not want to shoot a three and that becomes a very long long
06:21list also buddy healed well I mean you know I mean yeah unfortunately you have
06:27about eight guys in your 10-man rotation who would qualify under who you don't
06:31want to shoot a three I mean right now I would say the the list of people where
06:37you have some sort of shoulder stress reaction when they're about to pull up
06:41from three it's it's it's buddy when it's a bad shot it's pods geez yeah it
06:49is no and it's it's it's Brandon Pajewski it's Draymond just cuz I mean
06:56like easy and he's been much better at it this year higher percentage than pods
06:59so it's it's GP too if he's not in the corner those don't feel good at all and
07:08he's shooting 41% yeah there's gay I and and at times there have been moments
07:14throughout this year where it's coming go yeah sometimes and Jimmy Butler yeah
07:19well Jimmy like I mean how many he's taking seven in four games as a warrior
07:24shot seven of them right and I'm gonna run into one one but still that's almost
07:29two a game yeah I yeah and those are basically giveaways like if you're
07:34shooting 14% and I know his career number is closer to 30% yeah the list of
07:41guys you don't want to shoot is a lot longer than guys who you do want to

07:51hey I just wanted to chime in real quick guys this is what I feel like our coach
07:57is making 17 million a year right and this is not a small sample size if you
08:03know you got this kid coming back that it over his entire career when he's
08:07giving 30 minutes a game it's gonna give you 21.6 rebounds and he shoots 40% for
08:12free when he plays 30 minutes the game that is too much of a valuable weapon
08:17coming back to this team that is that they had to play an integral part in
08:21its success so if they know the analytics and they know these numbers
08:24thank God he's actually a 40% shooter this year I'll catch issue three so it's
08:29not even about playing these games is he gonna play 10 minutes 15 minutes 20
08:33minutes I agree with you mark for them to do something real they need this
08:38weapon and they better find a way to just make it happen so if my coach is
08:41making 17 mil and you know the analytics get the guy 30 minutes and get him out
08:47there to produce for you now you got three players Jimmy, Steph, Kaminga any of
08:53them could get you 20 to 35 points and Steph can get you way more than that on any
08:57given night and now you're cooking with grease you got other people that can
09:01then fill in with a 10, 15, 20 points I mean that's what we got guys so to me we
09:06don't even have to think that hard about it this is the weapon you got coming
09:10back to your team wrap him up get him where he needs to go and give him a damn
09:15firm so he can produce and help you take it to another level. Yeah Tim I think you've got a
09:21very very good point at the same time I do think you're simplifying it a little
09:26bit because it because it's not that simple. What does it matter what Steve
09:30makes? Well I mean I get what his point is he's using that to make a point you
09:35right he's making 17 million figure it out you got a big-time coach so figure
09:38it out and that's fine but the bottom line is Jimmy Butler's on the team now
09:42and that's a very big presence and you can't just say hey Jonathan's good stick
09:49him in there and figure it out well they don't you said they have all the
09:53analytics they don't they have no analytics on Jonathan playing with Jimmy
09:57exactly none and they got to go get him and I think that's all he was saying I
10:01think that's all Steve was saying. I get that part of it and they are going to
10:05just stick him in there and they are going to play him and you're right
10:08they're gonna figure out how it looks and all we heard from Steve for a long
10:12time was you know Wiggins and Kaminga just doesn't work and then suddenly
10:15Wiggins and Kaminga started to work a little better much better this year and
10:20then you traded Wiggins but at least you kind of found ways that those
10:23players could play together and they could work together and the same thing's
10:27gonna happen here where Jimmy and Kaminga are gonna play together and
10:31you're gonna figure out what works for each of them
