00:00So listen, you are in rarefied air.
00:03You won the Daytona 500 second year in a row.
00:06Not many drivers have been able to do that.
00:09Tell me, how do you leverage this success
00:13in terms of your sponsorships,
00:15your business opportunities and stuff like that?
00:18Yeah, well, it's a huge opportunity
00:20to not only give back to the sponsors that we have,
00:23but also expand our brand as a race team.
00:26And we're just using this momentum
00:29to capitalize on it and give a lot of positivity.
00:31We have some great sponsors,
00:32Exalta, Baveline, Liberty University, HP Computers.
00:37So it's great to give back to them
00:40and really just continue the momentum that we have.
00:43So when you think about the prize money
00:46you won from this event,
00:48where do you look to put money to work?
00:51Yeah, well, I invest most of my money.
00:54So I would say it's probably gonna go there
00:57first and foremost.
00:58And then I'm not a big purchaser.
01:01So I just kind of will probably save most of it
01:03and just kind of let it develop and grow in my portfolio.
01:08And what is your advice to other young athletes
01:12on how to handle their money,
01:16handle their fame, handle the business of money?
01:21Yeah, I think you hear a lot of horror stories
01:23about athletes and the way that, you know,
01:26they manage their money.
01:27But I feel like it's just,
01:28you have to live like you normally were before then
01:32and not really like change any of your lifestyle
01:35based on, you know, success.
01:37So I feel like I try to live by that.
01:39Obviously there's some things that make your job easier
01:41and you try to invest in those things.
01:43Like for us, having a motor home at the racetrack
01:46is a big expense, but it's something that's well worth it
01:49because you're using it 36 weekends of the year.
01:51So it really becomes a home.
01:53So just trying to make sure that you are investing
01:57in a smart way and not changing your lifestyle too much.
