00:00Along with the celebration of the 31st anniversary of the National Police College or NPC,

00:06the DEA gave instructions on how to fight or avoid cyber threats.

00:10Not only that, the NPC also introduced the agencies that they have been working with in carrying out their mandate

00:16and in achieving their success.

00:22Not only is the continued spread of cyber threats in our country known by many,

00:35but we are also living in a digital age where the use of gadgets and other applications is already part of some people's lives.

00:43That is why on the celebration of the 31st founding anniversary of the NPC or National Police College,

00:49which has the theme of cyber resiliency through education, building safer communities together,

00:55the focus was given on how to fight or avoid cyber threats.

01:00So we have a new domain as far as national security is concerned.

01:05This is what we are looking at.

01:07There are so many cyber crimes, malign influences, and all of these activities concerning cyber.

01:16And therefore, we are on the right track.

01:18I was part in the creation of the National Cyber Training Institute of the PPSC.

01:24I'm proud that they have already finished the first 50 police officers.

01:29We need more cyber security experts.

01:33On the part of the NICA, I mentioned about Executive Order 54 because that is about cyber intelligence.

01:40And we are also doing our level best to be able to cope up to the new challenges.

01:51There are also many who support the official signing of the MOA or Memorandum of Agreement

01:55where several agencies inside and outside the country will have a collaboration with the National Police College or NPC

02:02to improve the education for the public safety officers of the country.

02:08We just signed the Declaration of Cooperation.

02:11So this is a document that allows us to explore different venues to partner with the National Police College

02:17in areas such as joint training, building the curriculum together,

02:22working on research projects, and maybe also on outreach together.

02:28Aside from that, the participants in the success of the National Police College were also recognized.

02:33The People's Television Network was also awarded the Institutional Award

02:38personally received by Network General Manager Antonio V. Nebrita, Jr.

02:43First is congratulations to the National Police College for 31 years

02:49as they celebrate their founding anniversary today.

02:53Second, I would like to thank them for recognizing the People's Television Network.

02:58What we're just doing is we're doing our job.

03:02It's part of the mandate to be able to share, disseminate the knowledge and information.
