Our newest amateur NFL Draft analyst is Blake Elliott, and today he gives us his breakdown of two of this year's top wide receiver prospects. Would either Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan or Texas' Matthew Golden be worthy of taking with the 12th overall pick?

00:00Tett McMillan, the receiver out of Arizona. He is the consensus top receiver in this year's
00:22draft. Um, he's from Arizona junior, 21 years old, six, five, 210 pounds. It's a big dude,
00:29right? Yeah. So when you think of six, five, 210 guys, the guys that come to mind for me,
00:33Drake London fits that mold. Mike Evans fits that mold. I'm also thinking a little bit
00:38of AJ Brown as well. Um, as far as really tall dudes, he got a little bit of size on
00:42them as well. Um, if you're not familiar with this game, uh, here's some of the stats, uh,
00:47in 2024, 84 catches, he amassed 1300 yards, 1319 to be exact, uh, receiving yards per
00:54catch 15 and a half per catch. And then when on a per game basis, 109 per game with eight
01:00touchdowns on the season, 2023, he was even more productive. And that was when we saw
01:05him going into Travis Hunter, have the one hand to catch in the back of the end zone
01:08with Travis Hunter guarding them. We didn't get to see Travis this year. I believe Travis
01:11was hurt for the Arizona Colorado matchup this year. Um, some positives that I wrote
01:16for, uh, Ted McMillan, strong hands, excellent body control. Um, you'll see him a lot of
01:22times down the sideline, make really good catches, whether it's on comeback routes,
01:27uh, for FIA being his quarterback at Arizona or down the field. So to me, he's a guy that's,
01:32uh, has a big catch radius. Uh, me and Wolchuk, we're talking about him. He, a lot, he got a lot
01:37of money, uh, on those crosser routes. So kind of on those shallow cross routes, he would have kind
01:42of a, a late throw for FIFIA. Um, also some other good things, definitely a possession receiver.
01:48Uh, it wasn't much of a yards after catch guy. Every once in a while, the defense would break
01:53down and there'd be green grass in front of him. But as far as when I think of yards after catch
01:58guys, you know, thinking of a Zay flowers, thinking of an Xavier worthy, where it doesn't
02:01look like there's any space. All of a sudden they're bursting through that tiny seam,
02:04taking it to the house. That's not exactly Ted's game.
