00:00The La Union Police Provincial Office and the Commission on Elections in La Union signed a solidarity pact that they will meet in Camp Diego.

00:20Col. Harold Bruno, Director of the La Union Police Provincial Office and Atty. Alipio Alonso Castillo III, Provincial Election Supervisor of the La Union Commission, led the signing of the agreement.
00:32According to Col. Bruno, the purpose of this agreement is to strengthen the unity of government agencies, police, military, and local organizations in order to avoid violence and trust in the upcoming elections.

01:27As part of the security, the Police Regional Office 1 announced the deployment of 1,478 police in the entire La Union to maintain peace on the day of the election.
01:39Meanwhile, three towns in La Union, Ago, Caba, and Pugo, were placed under the Yellow Category, followed by the Commonwealth Resolution No. 11067.
01:49Because of this, the authorities will be more strict in monitoring the places.
