00:00I'm Jordanian, but I just sort of grew up my whole life here.
00:08I was raised here.
00:09I did all my schooling here, and obviously this is the place where I played all my golf
00:13growing up, up until now.
00:15So it's always been like my home.
00:17Everything I've sort of ever done was here in Dubai.
00:21So when I was younger, about four years old, I had this old gaming console, it's called
00:26the Wii.
00:27It had a variety of different sports on it, one of them being golf.
00:30So I don't know, I was always attached to golfing on there.
00:34So my dad noticed that and decided, why don't we pick it up outside and see where it goes?
00:39And I was always attached to it.
00:41You know, I love golf since I was really, really young, so just sort of stuck to it.
00:48Some of my most memorable ones include the ones where I broke course records.
00:52Those are obviously the ones that you think about the longest.
00:55They stay in your memory for a while.
00:57One of them being JA Amateur, which I broke the course record there, and it's my home
01:01course where I do my coaching.
01:02So it's pretty cool to have that there.
01:04I still think about it to now, even though it was a little bit ago.
01:08So under the World Amateur Golf Ranking, I'm ranked 402nd as an amateur.
01:13In the juniors, I'm ranked top 60.
01:16Coming up next week, I've got the Asian Games in China, which is quite a big event this
01:20year.
01:21And end of October is the Asia Pacific Amateur in Australia.
01:24We're going to be playing in Royal Melbourne, which is a very world-renowned golf course.
01:28So that's super exciting, having a chance to compete in that high level of competition
01:32as well.
01:33And then hopefully a professional start later on in the year.
01:36It's always good to represent your country, to be representing them in these big events
01:41coming up.
01:42It's pretty cool.
01:43You have your own sort of team, and you have that team factor as well.
01:49The biggest thing for me, the main goal that I really want to get to, is to just be the
01:54best player in the world.
01:56Everything that sort of happens along the way should just happen on its own.
01:59But that's kind of where I want to get to at the end.
