00:00Satok Assemblyman Ibrahim Baki has secured the highest number of votes in the elections
00:07for a vice-president position in the Bumiputra wing of Parti Pesaka Bumiputra Bersatu Sarawak

00:15Sarawak Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Minister Abdulkarim Rahman Hamza failed
00:21to defend his position.
00:23He garnered 669 votes, placing him fifth out of the six candidates vying for the four vice-president
00:30posts.
00:31The official results were announced by the party's elections chairman Awang Bimi Awang
00:35Ali Basah at its 16th General Assembly this morning, Pernama reported.
00:40Ibrahim secured the most votes at 910, followed by State Utility and Telecommunication Minister
00:47Julaihin Arawi, who defended his position with 900 votes.
00:51Sarawak Deputy Education, Innovation and Talent Development Minister Dr. Anwar Rapayi
00:57also retained his vice-presidency by securing 788 votes.
01:03The fourth successful candidate was another new contender, Len Talif Saleh.
01:08The Sarawak Deputy Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment Minister secured his position
01:13with 687 votes.
01:16Sarawak Deputy Utility and Telecommunication Minister Abdul Rahman Junaidi also failed
01:21to defend his position, receiving only 546 votes.
