00:00Juan, congratulations on your maiden G4D win. How does it feel?

00:04It feels great. Last year I played pretty good golf around the globe but the win didn't come.

00:10I think it's great to start 2023 this way and hopefully much more to come.

00:15You didn't have it all your own way, did you?

00:17Brendan and Curtis gave you a real fright during the round.

00:21I was playing pretty steady golf through the round. I played pretty decent.

00:25But I saw at the 10th that Brendan was four under.

00:28So I bogeyed at 11th or 10th I think.

00:32So we were tied over there.

00:34It was hard because I know Brendan has a big potential.

00:37Also playing with Curtis was easier because I was seeing him all the time.

00:40But it was a great battle and at the end this week was for me.

00:44Birdie at 12. How important was that?

00:47It was definitely very important.

00:49It was a very difficult pin position up there to the right.

00:52With the winning game we hit a great 7-iron and we made a 15-footer putt which was clutch.

00:58Because my partner also made it.

01:01So it was key to make that birdie.

01:04And a bogey at the last. Were there some nerves creeping in on the 18th there?

01:08No, we just made two big mistakes with the yardages.

01:10They moved the tee forward and we shouldn't have hit driver there.

01:13We hit driver and went into the water.

01:15And then with the range finder instead of getting the pin we took the clubhouse from the back.

01:20So we made a few mistakes over there but it was just a six and take the trophy home.

01:25So title under your belt now. What's next for the 23rd season?

01:29I have to rest a little bit right now.

01:32Last year was really long.

01:34We ended up in December and we didn't have any break until now.

01:37Now I'm going to break for three months almost.

01:40And after that I think the first event we play in...

01:43I don't know really if it's in England or in Sweden.

01:47But I'll play all the other events from the EFOD Tour around.
