00:00The National Security Council, or NSC, defended the Typhoon Missile System's presence in the Philippines, rejecting China's claims.
00:07They clarified that the Philippines does not interfere with China's defense upgrades and does not promote anti-China rhetoric.
00:14The NSC also confirmed that arrests of Chinese nationals for espionage were based on solid evidence.
00:21The Philippine Coast Guard continues to monitor Chinese ships in the country's Exclusive Economic Zone, or EEZ.
00:28Meanwhile, the Chinese research vessel Lan Hai 101 has left the Philippines and is now near Taiwan.
00:37There is a possibility that after staying for long in Bajo de Masinlok area and off the coast of Zambales,
00:45it will just do the usual rotation, passing through the Exclusive Economic Zone of Malaysia, Indonesia,
00:52and then go up to Vietnam and then eventually went back to the Chinese harbor.
