(Adnkronos) - Una scommessa vinta. Così Fnm definisce il primo treno a idrogeno in Italia, il Coradia Stream di Alstom. Una realtà su rotaia che si pone come apripista per un processo di decarbonizzazione del trasporto su ferro che contribuirà al complesso processo di transizione energetica del nostro Paese. Dallo scorso 23 gennaio, il treno a idrogeno è a Rovato, nel bresciano, nel nuovo impianto di manutenzione in cui sono in corso i test di rifornimento per l’innovativo treno.

00:38We started six years ago with an idea, today it has become a project that has become a standard

00:50Let's call it a formal reunion between the train and its part, let's say hidden,
00:57which is the infrastructure on which we are very proud because it is our project,
01:02that of building a series of plants for the production, storage and distribution of hydrogen
01:10which is unique as a model at the European level.
01:13To see the hydrogen train take off, it will have to wait until 2026,
01:17but the goal that pushed the ambitious project is well outlined.
01:22The goal was a modernization of the line and decarbonization.
01:28Naturally, hydrogen meets these requirements,

01:34it allows a very significant cost reduction
01:37and I also want to underline how there will be a direct supply on the line
01:42in the production and distribution plants that are in Brescia, Iseo and Etolo.

01:56which is a UNESCO heritage that we all want to preserve from a sustainable efficiency point of view.
02:05Around the innovative train, ad-hoc infrastructures will be built for the supply of hydrogen.
02:12The sites are in Borgo San Giovanni, in Etolo and Pisogne.
02:18To build the three plants where not only the distribution will be done,
