00:00A stronger disaster response in Zamboanga Peninsula was brought by DSWD
00:05in the launch of the new Mobile Command Center in the region.

00:21The Department of Social Welfare and Development Region 9
00:25officially launched their new Mobile Command Center
00:28with the aim of strengthening communication and coordination
00:31during times of emergency.
00:34The Mobile Command Center has advanced ICT equipment
00:37that will provide assistance to areas
00:39that are weak or have no communication.
00:42It will also serve as an extension of the DSWD's Operations Center
00:46to the affected communities
00:48to speed up the reception and delivery of important messages and information.
00:53Our Operations Center here in the regional office
00:57is like a Mobile Command Operations Center in the field.
01:01It will gather information and reports.
01:05This facility was used during the Typhoon Christine in Region 5
01:11and the Typhoon Hall in Region 6 and 7.
01:15This facility was used in different regions during the past typhoons
01:20including the Typhoon Christine in Region 5
01:22and emergency operations in Region 6 and 7.
01:26The DSWD has also ensured that there are facilities in Region 9
01:30to ensure the effective operation of the Mobile Command Center.
01:35Through the Mobile Command Center,
01:37the DSWD-9 has once again proven their commitment
01:41to strengthen the disaster response
01:43and ensure that the communities in need will receive immediate assistance.
