AccuWeather's Geoff Cornish was forecasting live on the AccuWeather network on Feb. 12 as severe storms led to multiple reported tornadoes in Alabama and Mississippi.

00:00I wanted to point out a confirmed tornado here. This is radar confirmed into an area of Clark County of Alabama.
00:07So we can take a look at this through the mobile radar site.
00:10And again, a velocity scan indicating that we're facing some trouble here with a rotating thunderstorm still.
00:16And we're seeing that this was perhaps a little bit stronger for a time.
00:21But again, still the potential is there.
00:24It looks like the rotation is getting a little more diffuse, which is good news.
00:27On the other hand, this storm just north of Laurel, Mississippi, a pretty fiercely rotating storm.
00:33So that's a big concern here.
00:35We're going to be dealing with more of a risk of a possible tornado with that.
