00:00Cebu City was recognized as the second pet-friendly city in Asia

00:04according to an online travel platform,

00:06Aquamation Services for Animals,

00:09which was also opened in Lungsod.

00:19This is a normal scene in the streets of Cebu City.

00:23It seems that people of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Fisheries

00:28or DVMF, and stray dogs

00:31are being brought to their shelters for anti-rabies vaccines and neuter shots.

00:38They do not impound the dogs because they are being abandoned or not being adopted.

00:43We just protect them by ensuring that they are vaccinated.

00:50They will bite only. Roaming dogs are more susceptible.

00:53They will bite only if you catch them.

00:57Even in Cebu City Hall, the rescued stray dogs,

01:02Puchi and Manny, are free.

02:16Here, the water waste becomes fertilizer from the animal.

02:20With aquamation, it's a more gentle and more peaceful process.
