00:18If you want a quick break from the hustle and bustle of a noisy city

00:22You won't be surprised if you can relax and achieve what you're looking for

00:29Let's go on a trip to Tipi Dreams

00:33From Monumento, we'll take LRT to Quirino

00:36It's only P25

00:39Once you get off at Quirino Station, it's just a walking distance

00:42So it's a walk trip and a moony moony

00:45Until you see that big elephant

00:48And welcome to Manila Zoo

00:52Manila Zoo

00:54Manila Zoo was first built on July 25, 1959

00:59It was renovated before the pandemic of 2019

01:02And it was launched on November 22, 2022

01:06The changes in Manila Zoo starts with the structure

01:10Our new zoos are more spacious

01:12And then we actually make the animals feel that they're in their wild habitat

01:16They're no longer trapped in a zoo

01:20At the entrance, there are wildlife fields

01:23It's spacious, clean, and full of trees

01:27It's like there's nothing in the middle of busy Manila

01:30But of course, that's not the only thing they're proud of

01:34There's also a playground for the kids

01:37A butterfly garden that has an aesthetic look

01:40And for the plantitos and plantitas there

01:43There's also a botanical garden that has different kinds of trees and plants

01:48You can also visit the botanical garden

01:50Where we usually have the most endemic species in the Philippines

02:41So a hebra is a cross between a male zebra and a female horse

02:45So it is very rare and uncommon

02:48But this didn't happen on purpose

02:50So here we have the world's largest rodent

02:53We have the capybaras

02:55They love to swim and they feed on vegetables and leaves

02:59Here we're going to the aviary section of the zoo

03:03We can see peacocks, multicolored storks

03:07We have our egret and our goose

03:09And on the other side, we have our meat-eating birds

03:13Which is our blaminikite, or what we call colloquially, is lawin

03:18Aside from the birds, we also have the tigers

03:22And they are very relaxed, Nala and Simba

03:25I hope so, right?

03:27So normally, you can notice if the animals are well-rested or comfortable

03:32Because they sleep

03:34If you thought that's all the animals in the zoo

03:36You're wrong, because the zebras, geese, and ostriches in the savannah will not be absent

03:43They are still manifesting in the giraffe that is open for donations

04:19From 11 am to 6 pm every Monday

04:23And 9 am to 6 pm every Tuesday to Sunday

04:27It's spacious, clean, and a really unique experience
