00:08Nidal Issa Abdullah, the convict who raped and killed 8-year-old boy Obaida in May 2016,
00:13was executed today morning. In February, Dubai's Cassation Court rejected the appeal lodged
00:18by the Jordanian convict Abdullah, 48, and upheld his death sentence given by lower courts.
00:24The Cassation Court had convicted Abdullah of kidnapping the Jordanian boy Obaida said
00:28from his father's auto repair shop in Sharjah on May 20 last year and driving him to Al
00:33Mamdar beachside where he raped him and then strangled him to death with a red kothra in
00:37his car.
00:38Makers of Padmavati have stated the film will not release globally, including in the UAE
00:43and the UK, until it gets clearance in India. The news comes even as reports circulated
00:48that the British Board of Film Classification has given the clearance to release a Sanjay
00:52Leela Bhansali period drama in the UK on its original date, December 1.
