00:10Militants attacked an Indian Army Brigade headquarters near the de facto border with
00:14Pakistan, killing 17 soldiers in one of the most deadly attacks in the northern region

00:20Four militants were confirmed killed after penetrating the base in Uri near the line
00:24of control with Pakistan.
00:26The attackers set fire to one building before the four were killed in a gunfight that lasted
00:31several hours.
00:32The United States has acknowledged that its warplanes had carried out an airstrike in
00:36Syria that resulted in the deaths of Syrian government troops.
00:39U.S. military officials said the pilots in the attack in the eastern province of Deir
00:44al-Zour believed they were targeting Daesh.
00:46Russia's defense ministry said the U.S. attack had killed 62 Syrian troops, wounded

00:55An explosion in a crowded Manhattan neighborhood on Saturday night left 29 people injured and
01:01authorities removed a suspicious device that was discovered just blocks away.
01:05Mayor Bill de Blasio called the blast an intentional act but said there was no terrorist connection.
01:11The report of the blast came hours after a pipe bomb exploded in Seaside Park, New Jersey
01:17shortly before thousands of runners were to participate in a charity 5K race to benefit

01:24The race was cancelled and no injuries were reported.
