00:08Kuwait and Qatar have become the latest Arab countries to follow in Saudi Arabia's footsteps
00:13by urging their citizens in Lebanon to leave. Both states also issued a travel warning for
00:17nationals planning to visit Lebanon.
00:19Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain have called for their citizens to avoid traveling to Lebanon.
00:25The move follows Riyadh's decision to cut $4 billion in military aid to Lebanon due
00:30to its frustration with Lebanon's pro-Iranian foreign policy.
00:34EU interior ministers hold fresh talks on refugees today, seeking to reduce the flow
00:39of people through the Balkans. They will also plan for what the bloc has warned is a looming
00:44humanitarian crisis.
00:46Ministers from non-EU members Serbia, Macedonia and Turkey will also be in Brussels as the
00:51European Union reaches outside the borders of the 28-nation bloc in a desperate attempt
00:56to deal with the influx of refugees.
00:59Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt paused to salute the Indian flag as he walked out of a Pune
01:03prison a free man this morning. 56-year-old Dutt was freed after he completed his prison
01:09term for illegal possession of arms in the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blast case. Clad in
01:15blue shirt and jeans, a smiling Dutt was escorted out of the imposing jail gates after completing
01:21formalities and got into a car that drove him straight to Lohegaon airport to take a
01:25chartered flight to Mumbai.
01:27And finally, the weather. Today's high across the UAE will be 27 degrees Celsius, dropping
01:32to 18 degrees at night.
