00:00The Eva Longoria Foundation helps young women through educational programs and entrepreneurial
00:16programs and making sure they have economic mobility in their life.
00:21We do the global gift galas all over the world to help raise funds for different organizations
00:27and charities in the places in which we hold them, Paris, London, Marbella, Dubai, Cannes,
00:35Mexico.
00:36And so it's just basically about connecting the dots and charities and awareness and raising
00:41funds for all of these amazing causes.
00:44Well, we have different performers and this year we have Terrence Howard from Empire who
00:52is an amazing singer.
00:54So that's just a special treat, anytime anybody gets to see him perform, I'm very excited
00:59about that.
01:00You know, Terrence and I have been friends for over 15 years and so, yeah, we call him
01:09and say, get over here.
01:12And no, he's a dear friend and he's a big supporter of us.
01:16He's been a supporter from the beginning.
01:18He's come to Spain, he's come to Cannes, and so we know we can always count on him and
01:23he's an amazing entertainer as well.
01:29Actually we just launched a new program with Mexico, so we're going to be testing out a
01:34pilot program for parental engagement programs in Mexico and we're very, very excited about
01:40that because that's allowing us to scale the programs we have in the United States outside
01:46of it.
01:47I have a new TV show called Telenovela coming out January 4th in the States and then available
01:56online.
01:57A super funny comedy about behind the scenes of a telenovela, which is a Spanish soap opera,
02:03and I play the star of a Spanish soap who doesn't speak Spanish and so all of this comedy
02:07ensues.
02:08A lot of physical comedy, it's big and broad and it's just so much fun to watch.
02:16I love coming to Dubai because compassion is in the DNA of the UAE.
02:24Taking care of your own, taking care of each other.
02:28It's ingrained historically that it's a very kind, loving, compassionate place to be and
02:35so we just extend that to philanthropy and you have a perfect recipe for success.
