00:13Mass shootings and attacks weighed heavily on the minds of Americans in 2015, according
00:18to a new poll that found most believed this year was worse for the world than last year.
00:24Americans say the most important events of 2015 were a string of mass shootings, including
00:29the attacks in San Bernardino, California and Paris, plus Daesh atrocities.
00:35Fifty-seven percent of those polled say this year was worse than the last year for the
00:39world as a whole, up from the 38 percent asked that question a year ago.
00:45More than 1,600 wanted cars marked for either traffic or criminal offences have been seized
00:51in the past 11 months using the roof-mounted camera on patrol vehicles, Dubai traffic police
00:57revealed.
00:58Colonel Saif Muhair al-Mazroui, director of Dubai traffic police, said the cameras mounted
01:03on the siren lights of patrol vehicles are continuously operational.
01:08The camera records the license plates of vehicles, whether they are in motion or not, and runs
01:12them through the Dubai police database.
01:15Police are then notified about wanted vehicles in the area.
01:20Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal said he could quit by myself after Stoke City condemned
01:25his side to a fourth straight defeat.
01:28Stoke comfortably recorded a 2-0 win over the Dutchman's struggling side.
01:33The Dutchman, under pressure after seven games without a win, was asked whether he feared
01:38he would be sacked.

01:45van Gaal told a media conference after the game.
01:49One of Kerala�s best-known actors, Mammootty, is set to headline the New Year�s Eve concert

02:06Asian performers, stunts, music and a fireworks display.
02:10Mammootty�s performance will start from 8pm and last for two hours, during which he
02:15will be joined by South Asian talent including Hariharan, Suchitra, Sayonara and Avzal.
