Seal’s kids are all grown up! The 61-year-old musician shares four children with ex-wife Heidi Klum — daughters Lou, 15, and Leni, 20, and sons Henry, 19, and Johan, 18 — but, according to him, they're not exactly kids anymore. In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at Media Row in New Orleans ahead of the 2025 Super Bowl, the "Kiss from a Rose" singer opened up about what it’s like as a father to four now that his kids (save for the youngest, Lou) are adults.

00:03It's been amazing, you know, yeah, you end up with these great friends now that you can have, you know, real conversations with and you get to learn from your mistakes as a parent, you know, the ones that you've made and you get to realize that all that they really care about is not that you, not the mistakes you made, but did you always try?
00:28Did you always try your best as a parent?
00:31And as they get older, you see that they understand that because they become adults themselves and they realize how difficult it is to be a parent.
00:41In fact, it's the hardest job in the world because it's the one job where you can't make mistakes.
00:46But the reality is you do make mistakes.
00:49They don't really care so much about those.
00:52They care about if you tried, if you tried your best as a parent.
00:56And luckily my, I can't call them kids, but the sons and daughters that I raise, they're seeing that I tried my best.
