00:12Police in Dubai are currently testing the use of Google Glass for traffic officers to
00:16use on the scene of an accident to send live feed to the operations room.
00:21A top official said Dubai police were the first government entity in the UAE to use
00:25Google Glass.
00:26Dubai police have also made it possible for people who own Google Glasses to use it to
00:31report traffic violations through an app.
00:35Dubai is all set to become a major healthcare provider in the region with the launch of
00:39its ambitious medical tourism project this week.
00:42As the Dubai Health Authority introduces its medical tourism packages on October 22, Dubai
00:47eyes at attracting more than 500,000 medical tourists by 2020, with estimated revenues
00:53exceeding 2.6 billion dirhams.
00:55Dr. Laila al-Marzouki, acting director of DHA's Health Regulation Department, said
01:00both private and public healthcare sectors are part of the initiative.
01:05Iraqi lawmakers have approved new defense and interior ministers, completing a unity
01:09government that is battling the spread of Daesh militants.
